Who is Kinger? He uses the ‘Forex Morning Trade’ EA and posted these rules on the Forex Morning Trade Forum.

Five Never Trade Kinger Rules:
1) Never trade April and August.
2) Never trade bank holidays in the UK or US.
3) Never trade the week leading up to Christmas.
4) Never trade the week between Christmas and New Year.
5) Never trade the first week in January.

We’ve gather forward testing data from Mark Fric, the creator of Forex Morning Trade EA, from Aug 2010 to now. So far had, Mark kept these rules, he would not have lost -298.2 pips. We started in Nov 2010, we would have not lost around 300 pips too.

Here are the trades, it looks like we should have kept these never trade rules!

Hi ,

here’s my occasional newsletter, now with an important change of trading
settings for Forex Morning Trade system.
But first of all..

———————————————–
Results for the last three months
———————————————–

Just to quickly summarize the results we had in the previous months. The system
was running exceptionally well, we made around 10% to the account on
both February and March.

April is so far around zero, there were too many break evens. . .

———————————————–
Important – Change of FMT trading settings
———————————————–

I’m updating the settings I use and recommend for trading both Forex Morning Trade and Turbo Morning Trade.

The new recommended settings:
- enter trade at 6:15 UK time (15 minutes earlier than now)
- StopLossPips = 45 pips (from 40 pips)
- BreakEvenAtPipsProfit = 25 pips (from 20 pips)
- BreakEvenAddPips = 5 pips (from 0 pips)

All the other values remain intact. These new settings are valid for both FMT and Turbo version
and I’m going to use then starting tomorrow (19th April).

What is the reason for these changes?
Simply better profitability. These settings work better for the last years (2010 and 2011) than my original settings.

What’s the difference in profitability?
These new settings show around 20-30% better performance than the old ones since 2010.

Cons:
- By using SL 45 and PT 35 we will further decrease the risk-reward ratio from the “ideal” 1:1.
That’s the only slight drawback, but it is compensated by increased profitability.

- The tests before 2010 show better profitability of the original settings.
But that’s normal, market evolves intime and we should evolve our trading too.
In my opinion the results for more than a year are sufficient enough to justify this change.

The credits for these improved settings don’t go to me, but to Hammy66. . .

Hammy66’s rules actually place three trades, at 6:15, 6:30 and 6:45, with the same settings mentioned above.
My tests show that 6:15 is the best from these times, so I don’t see a big reason to split our money to three trades.

——

Best regards,

Mark Fric

I don’t believe in any broker conspiracy or stops hunting, we are too small players for that. In my opinion it is just a coincidence and bad luck, but I think there’s nothing wrong about temporarily decreasing PT/SL by 5 pips to 30/35 to get a bigger chance of hitting the profit.

I personally won’t do it, but any of you using my system can consider it.”

This automated forex trading program has working so well after much testing, we feel it’s time we increase our risk at bit for more profits. But anything can happen, we still have not completed a full year of live forward testing results, which will happen this Nov 2011.

Whole March summary
11 profits, 5 losses, the month ended with + 190.3 pips profit.

Another very good month with very nice profit. 190 pips represents almost 10% increase of the account (by risking 2% per trade).

“andybissell–I’m considering buying this system…..what I want to know is do I have to trade on a specific platform to use this system? Also, is the system a black box type of thing or do you see the signal and how it is calculated? From the vids it seems as if it just gives you instructions with no reason. I would prefer to use my current platform and get the signal on a demo….then apply it on my platform.” Post #7353

“wiseambitions–Just buy it! Best thing I did in ages. Although most people would use the system with an expert adviser (automatic system) within Metatrader you can still enter and exit your trades manually with any other platform. Just that the system installs a template on MT4. You can either run metatrader with a demo account so that you have the price feeds then make the trades on your own platform according to what this tells you to do or seeing as the system is NOT a black box you can learn how to apply the principles and use some other charting software. It is explicitly described once you get inside. Most other systems seem to be full of secrets but this one tells you exactly what to do and you can modify things to suit yourself if you really want to. However it works fine in the mode recommended” Post #7355

“Xbourse–Hi Andybissel, you have to use metatrader4 to see the signal, but you can pass manually your trade with an other platform … (but you will not have the benefits of the EA) When you use the product, you see the signal and how it works, you don’t see this in the videos because it’s the “important secret thing” of the system ! Sometime, dipending of the brokers the signal are not exactly the same, so be careful using you platform and a demo one (If i’m wrong please correct)” Post #7356

“andybissell–Thanks for the help wiseambition/Xbourse! and to answer a previous discussion, there’s no way I would buy any system from website testimonials only…having this open forum will definitely aid sales!” Post #7358

“imguru–I think it’s great to be able to come to a place like this and read about an EA’s up and downs PRIOR to purchasing it.” Post #7291

“ajnath–Just want to say hello to everyone as I purchased and have been demo trading FMT for a month. I have managed to read through the whole journal and want to say thanks to all for the very constructive and useful comments regarding the system. Its great to see Mark actively updating his journal to compare against. Also was interesting to see that almost half a million people have viewed this journal. Wonder how many have actually purchased the system.” Post #7292

“lumbco–We who have bought into FMT will want to protect the investment of Mark and ourselves. If the whole trading world knew just what a powerful method this is then the markets would be swamped with people using it. Do we want to risk to risk that ?” Post #7295

“hammy66–An open forum helps those deciding if they want to purchase FMT by getting good honest information from traders about FMT.” Post #7304

“chrisandrews12–I agree hammy, it was this thread that finally persuaded me to purchase this excellent system, the performance analysis here is outstanding. Many thanks to all who have posted their detailed spreadsheets” Post #7306

“PipZombie–Give this system to 10 people and you will get 10 different results. The human factor is the worst enemy of traders. My suggestion is to use the standard recommended settings and go to bed and wake up to a winner. Set it and forget it. Monkey with it an lose” Post #7311

“Jon4FX–But many times private forums become very slow usage and die out. I like this forum where many give best settings etc.,. and their best experiences.” Post #7312

“PipZombie–This system is simple. What I know now I would pay $1,000 for it….made over 5 figures with it so far….” Post #7313

“wiseambitions–I think it’s too cheap too. Others charge more for poorer performing ‘black box’ systems where you don’t know the secrets behind the signals” Post #7314
